"Sally and I want to express our thanks to the great Pueblo Balloon crew that took us on a magical journey on July 11, 2003.

Ed, our pilot, assisted by Rocky and Brad, provided us with a very professional experience that will last a lifetime. From our initial meeting at our motel, the set up and flight, to the champagne brunch and good byes, they were a courteous, informational and "a hoot" to be with. Thanks guys!

The breath-taking views were inspirational, and the New Mexico scenery is beyond words and description. Silently slipping along the sage-brush covered plain, and watching the ground open up into the magnificent Rio Grande Gorge was a once-in-a-lifetime revelation of beauty and awe. The sweet slide into the chasm was a tremendous thrill, expertly handled by Ed.

As we rose out of the rocky opening, the landscape spread out before us like a golden carpet. The chase crew below followed us, and assisted in a perfect landing. Later, our delicious brunch in Taos was a delight, and the conversation lively as the bubbles in the champagne.

This was a dream, and we thank all of those involved. Pueblo Balloons are the best!

"We just returned to Bermuda on Friday and have spent the past couple of days catching up and doing laundry, but I didn't want to let the weekend go by without e-mailing you.

First, let me say again how much we enjoyed our balloon ride. Richard says I haven't stopped talking about it since, and he's right. It was great, and you were right -- the bumpy take off and landing have made the tale just that much more fun to tell. Both of you added tremendously to the experience, too, as you are both witty, charming and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed meeting you, and we're ready to go again.

"Well we're back in Michigan now and are still awed by our experience with Pueblo Balloon. It's definitely one of our coolest experiences ever. We really enjoyed hearing local history, being able to help set up and take down the balloon, and how hard Ed worked to get us into the gorge even though there was but a slight breath of wind. Loved the champagne (two

glasses sure made crossing that bridge easier!) breakfast and warm donuts, too. Just a great, great day!

Here's a few pictures we thought you may like! By the way Ed, I've been getting a lot of mileage out of your "ballooner eclipse" joke! By the way, we went rafting the next day, and saw several of those bighorn sheep -

"Just a quick note and a couple of photos. I don't think this original email went out

so I'm resending from my other email address. We had a blast!!! Best experience and best people we've had the pleasure of meeting our entire trip! We spent the latter part of our trip in Santa Fe and wanted to be back in Taos!!!

We have tons of photos but just wanted to share a few with you. Give our best to Brad and the rest of the crew. I'm still pumped and can't wait to get my pilots license. I've started studying from some info I've found online (FAA)We stopped by and saw Russell and he took us on a tour of the hat shop. We took

him a cd of photos.

We only had one evening of internet connection our entire trip. We live by the internet

so it was a great experience to let go of that seemingly important duty for a few days!

Thanks so much Ed, Anne is a new person. We for once got to have conversation on the plane

instead of her being a medicated zombie. She feels like she can do anything now. She even plans on

going up in a bi-plane with me. HA!"

It was such a smooth, peaceful ride up there, I'm embarrassed to think that I was so nervous beforehand. You made the ride extremely comfortable. It was really neat to learn from you and your staff all about the history of some of the sites and trails that we were able to see along the way. "Normally we do not take time to write reviews or critiques, and often we forget to thank those who enrich our lives with unforgettable experiences. However, in this case we are going to make an exception!!

What a wonderful time we had with the Pueblo Ballon Company on June 8, 2009. Words alone cannot express the flight and the fabulous people we encountered along the way. The charming and cooperative Dana at Hamption; the lively, informative Lisa; the brillantly competent crew chief Dave; and of course "The Muscle" two degrees and we hope he keeps on chasing. We would be remiss not to mention the superb pilot Ed who calmed the fears and answered the multitude of questions in an exemplary manner.

We cannot describe the flight, it was truly beyond our expectations and should be experienced by everyone, but we can describe the brunch. Doc Martins was a beautiful setting with great food. The conversation was intelligent, enlivening ,and most enjoyable. We spent the remainder of our vacation singing your prasies and hope you continue in providing this wonderful service.

"Thank you for a wonderful hot air balloon flight. My family of five flew with you this past Thursday, July 8. Every aspect of the day was excellent. Dave picked us up and gave us some excellent information about Taos and ballooning. Despite – actually, because of – some early morning wind, Ed gave us quite an experience in balloon inflation. The flight itself was spectacular – the views, the flying, the feeling of being suspended high above the earth yet absolutely no apprehension at being so. The unexpected fun was the landing – lying sideways in the gondola as the wind wrestles with the deflating balloon. And then, rather than rushing us through a post-flight toast, we were treated to some fun storytelling and an excellent brunch. It was a first-rate experience all the way."
